The Samsung Z140 Mobile Phone on 3G is another of Samsung's low spec handsets, but it is still a stylish looking phone with some great features. It comes in silver with a clamshell design and with dimensions of 88 x 48 x 26 mm and weighing 105g, it is a light, compact handset for a 3G phone. It is a user friendly mobile with a functional keypad that is simple to use as it has a 5 way scroll which makes it easy for the user to navigate through the menus and access the functions.

All the usual 3G functions are there such as video & music streaming, video downloads and video calling, plus an excellent video camera and music player which supports Mp3, AAC and AAC+ formats. There is 640 x 480 pixel rotating camera with 2 x digital zoom and photo effects and with 50Mb of shared memory there is enough room to store your favourite pictures. Other features include Polyphonc and Mp3 ringtones, Java games, phonebook with up to 1000 entries, plus an array of organiser features including calendar, scheduler, to-do list, clock and more. Connectivity is excellent via Bluetooth, USB, IrDa and Sync ML, but the battery life could be a little better but this is only a minor complaint.

The Samsung Z140 mobile phone is an excellent mid-range handset that is ideal for those who want more than a basic phone, but don't want to be bogged down by loads of technological features. This is a reasonably priced phone that performs well and is definitely worth a look.
