The LG U8330 Mobile Phone with 3G technology has a clamshell design and is similar in specification to previous LG handsets, but with a few subtle improvements to the features. The handset is small in design but quite heavy weighing 120g and the functions will be familiar to LG users, with the usual easy navigation and user friendly keypad, which has 5 way navigation buttons situated below the display. On the left there is a useful volume button, with a dedicated camera button on the right for instant pictures in an impromptu moment.

Mp3 tracks are easy to play on this mobile phone as LG have included a version of Windows Media player which will also play MPEG4 videos and with 27MB of memory available, you can store several songs, photos and video clips. The U8330 handset carries a rotating VGA camera with 2 x digital zoom and this feature also enables users to make face to face video calls. The internal display is bright and clear at 220 x 176 pixels, while the external screen is black and white, but is still very crisp at 96 x 64 pixels.

The LG U8330 mobile phone does not support Bluetooth connectivity as this is done via USB, but it does have the capacity for GPRS, SMS, Java MIDP 2.0, 64-channels polyphony and a voice recorder. In addition to this the handset also boasts a built-in hands free loudspeaker, a calendar and polyphonic ringtones. Reception is generally good and the battery standby is approx 5 days, with a talktime of around 3.5 hours.
