I've been a long time customer of Utility Warehouse. They are THE best utility supplier I've come across.
The thing that I really like about them is that you can have all your utilities on a single bill. When you get the bill it's itemised for each service separately.
The phone calls are listed, so you can see exactly when and where you are making phone calls. The mobile calls are listed too, which is great if you have teenagers. Although it's a not very nice thing to think about if they were to ever go missing and you needed to see who they are talking to or texting then you have a record. (Hopefully that will never happen but it helped my peace of mind)
The other thing I liked was that you could set a limit on the top ups, so you could be sure the teenagers would never be without credit but it also kept control of their spending. All the calls to other phones on our bill were free, so we always felt confident that they could contact us if they needed to.
For the gas and electricity the prices go up and down a bit but if you take them as an average then they are always cheaper than the big six.
But my absolute favourite thing about Utility Warehouse is that they have a UK call centre AND the number to call it is now a freephone number. They answer the phone very quickly and they're always really helpful.
In the past whenever I've had to call them the person I've spoken to has been well informed and helpful. They all seem to be very knowledgeable about all the services and if they can't help you immediately then they'll call you back, usually within less than half an hour.
Once my daughter had a problem with the key meter in her house. It was near to the time when the call centre closed but the person who answered the phone went out of her way to make sure that my daughter, who had a young baby at the time, had electricity for the evening and weekend.
If you are considering switching your utility supplier then I thoroughly recommend the Utility Warehouse for all the services that you need. Gas, electricity, phone, mobile and broadband.
An added bonus is that you get discounts and free phone calls if you take more than three services and I also have one of their cashback card which means that I get money off my bill when I shop at loads of stores. I'm laughing all the way to the bank.
